about

"Hopeamine" consists of seven looped phrases that I played between January 2018 and January 2019, which I then saved on the Boss RC-3 Loop Station "for later use." This, apparently, is "later use." The vocal samples are, of course, David Attenborough, from a documentary that I can't remember offhand; and Rami Malek, from "Mr. Robot" S2 E3. The symphonic sample is from the score to "MacGyver: Lost Treasure of Atlantis" and was composed by Ken Harrison. Nothing used with permission.

"Three times I dreamed" was improvised during the assemblage of "Hopeamine" using a Squier Bass VI, MXR M1090S EQ, Electro-Harmonix Mel9, and Boss DD-5.
