Written, recorded, and played in 2019 by Reticence in Shelburne Falls, MA. Reticence is Aaron Riverwood on guitars, keyboards, and effects.

Art by Reticence and Jeremy Withers. Cover star: Dr. Osric Midnight. Rachel Riverwood speaks on "And you, what do you seek."

Thanks to everyone who listened, encouraged, hosted, played, produced, and otherwise showed up, particularly John Affleck, Josh Burkett, Andrew Cramb, Adam Katz, and Karen Zanes/Infinity Vine Records. Special thanks as always to Jeremy Withers and Rachel Riverwood.

“As if the world were elsewhere” is a line from Kim Stanley Robinson’s Mars Trilogy. I forget which volume.

“And you, what do you seek?” is a line from Mount Analogue by René Daumal.

“Birch kiss burns” is a line from a poem by Zoë Skoulding.

“An incision the length of time” is a line from a poem by G. L. Ford.

“Voices rose from the empty well” is probably a quote from somewhere, but I can’t remember where.

“As if the fine rain [knew you]” is a line from a poem by Colin Simms.
